It's A Pleather Takeover!

We all know about leather, whether we love it or hate it, or own an item of it or not. Thankfully, another alternative has come along which has gone down a storm on high streets everywhere. Pleather is a term used to describe plastic leather. It has allowed fashion to become more animal-friendly and has allowed the wider public to be able to buy leather type items at an affordable price. Recently, i've really been into pleather trims and collars on jackets and coats. I find that they add a touch of edge to an item and can bring it to life.

Here are some Pleather items from my wardrobe. You may have seem some of them from previous posts.

Student Retail Therapy: Part II

So guys, a couple weeks ago I made a promise to myself and my very abused bank account that I would not buy anymore clothes until Christmas. However, you can probably tell by the title of this post that I did not keep my promise. So now I'm going to attempt to justify my reasons for each of my purchases.

The first items I bought were three blazers and an oversized jumper. These blazers were a good buy because they cover some of the season biggest trends, Dogtooth, PU and the British Heritage trend. They also they keep my ever-growing blazer obsession alive.
(Clockwise from top left-hand corner)
Hayley Herringbone Peplum Blazer - £30
Jenna Dogtooth Blazer: £20
Lauren PU Trim Blazer - £30
ALL FROM BOOHOO.COM

The only way I can justify the purchase of these fabulous dresses is that I just had to have them in my life. It's that simple.

(From left to right)
 Black PU 2 in 1 Skater Dress - £27.99
Green Chiffon Sleeveless Dip Hem Dress - £27.99
BOTH FROM NEW LOOK

Obviously, you can't buy such wonderful clothes without any accessories. That just wouldn't be right, would it?
(Clockwise from top left-hand corner)
Heart Collar Clip - £4.50 - New Look
Gold Drape Chain Chandelier Earrings - £7.99 - New Look
Rough Cut Teardrop Earrings - £3.99 - New Look
Rhinestoned Ring Set - £4.90 - Forever 21
Ornate Leaf Stud - £4.99 - New Look
Barry M Nail Paint (Black) - £2.99 - Superdrug
Barry M Kohl Pencil (Black) - £2.99 - Superdrug

Return Of The 'Tache ♪♫

An ode to the mighty moustache.

Return Of The 'Tache!
For the past couple of months, the moustache trend has been everywhere on the high street and has now left everyone with 'moustache mania.' I'm not too sure of how it all started but to me that really doesn't matter because I've always loved moustaches. Now I know that may sound weird and a bit strange, but over the years, moustaches have been linked to giving the male species the cool factor and is ultimately the icon of manliness. There’s even an organization called Movember that are getting prepared to grow and don their moustaches throughout the month of November. That’s proper dedication right there! Throughout history, there have been so many famous faces that have not only rocked the 'tache, but have made it a part of their fortune. Well-known faces like Hulk Hogan, Charlie Chaplin, Albert Einstein, Salvador Dali and Freddie Mercury have all made the moustache famous and in its own right, cool. So to all the moustache men of today, I salute you and your fuzzy friend!
On a trip into town today I came across some lovely and very interesting moustache finds. One was a fake moustache kit from Wilkinson (that i was so tempted to buy). It had different moustaches for different professions, which I thought was quite funny. I also saw a whole section in Claire's Accessories filled with all things to do with moustaches.
Finally, for me, my love of the moustache only came from one person and one person only and that was...

Super Mario!

My Birthday Wish List!

birthday wish list

I'll be turning 19 soon, so I decided to take to Polyvore.com for the first time and share what I want for it.

(Starting clockwise from top right-hand corner)

Carys Black Elastic Insert Ankle Chelsea Boot: Only £30 from Boohoo.com and are perfect for this seasons Heritage trend. I recently bought three new blazers and these bad boys would look perfect with them.

Lindi Red Studded Patent Over Ankle Boots: I've always wanted a pair of red boots but couldn't choose which shade I wanted. However, these seem to be the perfect shade as they aren't too bright or too dim and are just £30 from Boohoo.com.

Elyssia Black Leather Look Lace Up Hi Top Wedge: There's really not much I can say about the Hi Top Wedge trend other than it's absolutely genius. I love these ones from Boohoo.com and there only £30.

Apple iPod Classic 160GB in White: I'm in desperate need of a new iPod and after an incredible amount of thought to which model I wanted I decided to go for the Classic. It's 160GB, holds up to 40,000 songs and is only £199. Bargain! I only use my current iPod for music, so this would be worth it.

Barry M Nail Paint: Everyone that knows me, knows, I absolutely love my nails. I have an extensive nail varnish collection that keeps on growing.

Fast & Furious - The Complete Collection: Something I love more than my nails are the Fast & Furious films. They are my favourite movies of all time, especially Fast 5. My love for Vin Diesel and Paul Walker has grown immensely over the years and if Fast 6 is anything like Fast 5 then I definitely cannot wait to see it in the cinemas next year.

Finally, I would like MONEY, MONEY, MONEY and lots of it.

Thanks for reading.
